100% Renewable Energy Cities and Regions Network

Connecting leading local and regional governments to drive the the transition towards 100 percent renewable energy

ICLEI challenges local and regional governments to commit to and deliver on 100 percent renewable energy targets. The 100% RE Cities and Regions Network accelerates this process, bringing networking, peer learning, technical guidance and the latest renewable energy research and findings to participants.

Local and regional governments in the network are driving the global transition to renewable energy by making commitments to 100 percent renewable energy, driving the uptake of renewable energy in their territories especially in electricity, heating and cooling, transport in the community and government operations.

Meet the cities and regions

Managed by ICLEI, the 100% RE Cities and Regions Network is inclusive and open to all ambitious cities, towns, and regions setting their course towards 100 percent renewable energy. The 100% RE Cities and Regions Network is part of the Global 100% Renewable Energy Platform, which builds on existing national, regional and local initiatives to establish a coalition of stakeholders driving the renewable energy transition.
