Resilient City

A resilient city is low risk to natural and man-made disasters. It reduces its vulnerability by building on its capacity to respond to climate change challenges, disasters and economic shocks.

Our Programs

Climate Resilient Cities is ICLEI's overarching program on urban resilience.

Covering issues such as climate mitigation and adaption, disaster risk reduction, food security, policy making and financing, the program produces a range of conferences, seminars, networks, tools and guidebooks to help local leaders build resilience at all government levels.
