Programme

Lectures

Lectures will be participatory and interactive. Most lecturers will stay with the participants for a full day to be available for questions and discussions.

Study visits

Participants will visit many successful sustainability projects dealing with climate protection, renewable energy, water and biodiversity management.

Socializing and Networking

Lectures, debates and site visits will be complemented by hikes in the Black Forest, friendly football matches and more! Free time will be set aside for personal activites in town and its famous natural setting.

Trainers

Experts and practitioners from local governments, the United Nations, ICLEI, international organizations and universities will give introductory lectures and will lead in-depth discussions with participants.

Mentors

ICLEI staff and partners will mentor participants to facilitate their integration into a global network of young municipal leaders, during and after the seminar.
