ICLEI Oceania acknowledges the significant contributions of organisations to support Australian and New Zealand local governments in our campaigns.
They have done this in various ways with the following energy utilities, water business / authorities and other organisations providing important data for councils at Milestone 1 of the Cities for Climate Protection Australia program, Communities for Climate Protection - New Zealand and the Water Campaign™.
The provision of data by these organisations assists ICLEI Oceania to support councils by improving the rigour of the analysis process.
The data has enabled the councils to undertake a more accurate community analysis. This is then utilised by councils as a basis for the remainder of the program and particularly the priorities for action through the goal setting process, and then actions implemented via the Local Action Plans (LAPs).
We also acknowledge the contribution of organisations at Milestone 3 and 4 with support to undertake activities to further implement these LAPs.
Their contributions are acknowledged and valued by all partners engaged in our campaigns.
