Training
ICLEI helps strengthen the capacity of local government elected officials and managers to drive a process of change towards sustainable development. ICLEI's International Training Centre (ITC) organizes seminars, workshops, and conferences, and offers distance training, study tours, and exchange programs. Regular conferences focused on capacity building and exchange take place globally and regionally.
ICLEI's Southeast Asia Secretariat offers training focused on conducting greenhouse gas emissions inventories and Local Agenda 21 processes. For information, please contact the Southeast Asia Team.
In 2005, the Secretariat has gained accreditation from the Philippine Civil Service Commission as a training institution. This strengthens the Secretariat’s ability to continually meet the capacity development demands in the region. This would also allow ICLEI SEA to offer cutting-edge courses and build on the foundations put up by the global campaigns.
