About:

The session was opened by the ICLEI Africa Executive Committee members, Mayor Stephen Kabuye and Councillor Marianne Nieuwoudt. A brief overview was given by the Regional Director of ICLEI Africa on past ICLEI Africa Projects, as well as planned projects and programmes for the future.
A facilitated member’s discussion gave current and new ICLEI members the opportunity to raise concerns and establish interests and needs regarding ICLEI Membership, gave feedback on past ICLEI projects.
The meeting included the allocation of delegates to strategic session slots during the World Congress.
