Nagoya Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical Gardens will hold a few programs related to biological diversity in which citizens can participate and experience the wonder of nature. These programs consist of a zoo tour, guided by the zoo director, and tours exploring the botanical garden. Participants of the programs will directly feel the link to living things and understand the importance of biological diversity. Concurrently, a digital photo class, in which parents and children can learn photography techniques and actually take photos of flora and fauna, will be held.
