Climate Crossroads
Climate Crossroads, created by the Sierra Club, is a place for people eager -- after eight years of inaction on global warming -- to share ideas, information, opinions, and opportunities to make real and urgent progress on climate change.
Climate Crossroads.org can help you keep the climate conversation going long after Earth Day and the National Conversation on Climate Action are over. The site tools are designed to help you engage a wide range of people – from those who simply want more information about climate change to active supporters who are ready to organize on-the-ground actions:
- Use the group and action tools to organize your online community around their interests -- these are great tools to focus the conversation around those issues that users are most passionate about. The group tool is an excellent way to gather your offline network in one online place and to send targeted messages. The action tool allows you to gather support for real changes at the individual and community levels.
- Use the discussion forum to post issues and to find out what questions your community needs answered.
- Use the blog tool to post important articles that will keep your community informed of critical information.
- Use the event tool to let your community know what’s happening on the ground.
