The CCP-NZ Actions Profile 2009 was compiled with data provided by the 34 councils particpating in the Programme, showing that more than 400,000 tonnes carbon dioxide-equivalent has been saved over the life of the Programme. At least 133,300 tonnes CO2-e is being abated each year.

The protocol could be applied to many organisations, however this version has been written specifically with the unique situation of local governments in mind.
