It describes what carbon offsets are, when and why they might be used, and includes some additional detail on the associated markets and certification standards that currently exist.

CCP Australia Offsets Policy – February 2009: (PDF, 124 KB) This policy specifies which carbon offset products are accepted as greenhouse gas emission reductions by the Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) Australia Program.
