The Eco-Efficient Cities initiative seeks to help local governments address unhealthy environments and unsustainable production and consumption patterns. Strategies to prepare a Local Agenda for Eco-efficiency should address the environmental issues related to air quality, energy efficiency, water resources management, waste stream management, eco-mobility, and others in an integrated manner.
