Second International LAB Workshop in Durban
The second LAB Workshop was held from 8 – 10 September in Durban. As with the previous LAB workshop, 2 representatives (one of which the city mayor) from each LAB city was invited to attend and engage in 3 days of workshop sessions, discussions and site visits in the area. The LAB city mayors and mayoral representatives also signed the Durban Commitment at this event.
The Durban Commitment, was signed at the LAB Workshop in Durban by all 21 of LAB’s cities. This document shows the exemplary commitments that LAB local governments are making towards sustainable management of biodiversity.
