Biography:
David O’Donnell is a Deputy Commissioner at the City of Chicago’s Department of Environment where he manages the Energy & Sustainable Business Division. The Division is charged with utility oversight, energy efficiency and renewable energy programming, air quality monitoring and improvement, and sustainable business development in the City of Chicago. Prior to his work at the Department David worked on environmental initiatives in Mayor Richard Daley’s office. David’s private sector experience includes strategic business consulting for multiple Fortune 500 clients in his role as a senior project manager for Sapient Corporation. He holds a Masters of Urban Planning and Public Policy from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a BS in Performance Studies from Northwestern University.
