Biography:
Dona Neely is the Director of the newly-established Devens (MA) Eco-Efficiency Center, a premier resource for a broad range of educational forums and assistance services that enable organizations to conserve resources, decrease pollution, and lower operational expenses. The Center is host for EcoStar, a branding and recognition program that promotes the implementation of sustainable business practices that result in economic and ecologic efficiencies. These initiatives support the development of an eco-industrial park in a location that was once a Superfund site.
Dona has a Masters Degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and has worked with corporations, government entities, and non-profits in the areas of sustainable business practices, green building and renewable energy technologies, and watershed protection. She has a special interest in voluntary environmental programs and working with businesses to minimize their environmental footprint.
