Biography:
Nichole Baker received her degree in Natural Resources from Washington State University.  As a student she worked for the Forest Service and Idaho Fish and Game.  Once graduated, Nichole remained in the Moscow, ID area to work for a private company; learning along the way website design and maintenance, public relations, advertising, and customer service.  When a job opportunity became available working as a researcher at the University of Idaho, she could not pass it up.  Working under an agricultural researcher and plant breeder, Nichole was exposed to a world of statistics, grants, technical writing, research, and graduate level courses.  Her experience gained at the university, in addition to her knowledge of various computer programs and her college background fit right into the needed expertise for the position of Water Conservation Specialist for the City of Moscow Water Department.  Nichole has been with the city for a little over a year now.  The program expands every year and was initiated by the city several years before.  Nichole is enthusiastic to be working for the progressive and proactive City of Moscow.
