Deputy Mayor Patricia Ross

Biography:
Patricia Ross is Deputy Mayor of the City of Abbotsford and has been serving as Councillor in local government for 14 years. She is a graduate and Fellow of the Leadership for Environment and Development (LEAD) International program which is a worldwide research and training program to foster the needs of sustainability. She is the recipient of the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce "Newsmaker of the Year" and Rotary Club's Paul Harris awards for her work on environmental issues.
From 2000 - 2006, she was in charge of Public and Media Relations as well as chief lobbyist for the City of Abbotsford in their successful campaign of opposition to the polluting power plant proposal, Sumas Energy 2.
