Biography:
Ed Moreno is an associate with The Keystone Center, a national conflict resolution, dialogue and educational nonprofit organization. Based in Santa Fe, Ed has facilitated numerous committees, boards and public meetings in a wide variety of public policy issues. Those include chemical weapons demilitarization, pandemic influenza planning, air tour noise regulations for Grand Canyon National Park, Bureau of Indian Affairs implementation of No Child Left Behind and environmental oversight of Los Alamos National Laboratory. In previous careers, Ed was executive director of the New Mexioc Association of Independent Colleges, president of Ed Moreno Consulting Co., which operated in conflict resolution and communications issues. He previously worked as a senior aide to the elected state land commissioner in New Mexico. Ed began his professional career in journalism, working in various newspapers in the West, and as chief corespondent for The Associated Press in Santa Fe. Ed is active in his community association, is a native of Mexico, is married and has three children and two grandchildren.
