About ICLEI
ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability is an international association of about 1,000 local governments, including 400 here in the US. Our mission is to build, serve, and drive a movement of local governments to advance deep reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and achieve tangible improvements in local sustainability. For over a decade, ICLEI USA has represented the local leaders on climate action. ICLEI’s proven Five-Milestone framework has guided and driven hundreds of local authorities across the country to quantify and achieve tangible reductions of greenhouse gas emissions.
