Taking Local Steps, Changing the World Milestone Methodology - Set, Track, and Meet Community Goals
All Summit participants will be grouped based on their community’s current status in the ICLEI Five Milestone Climate Methodology. Each group will go through climate planning and strategy exercises based on scenarios within their milestone. The simulation provides an opportunity to work with peers from around the country testing options, gaining valuable knowledge, experience and perspectives to apply at home.

Each milestone group will present their proposals along with the rationale for adoption to the Mock Council comprised of Elected Officials. The winning milestone group will be announced and honored at the ICLEI Climate Oscars.
