And the Star Community Index, the sustainability rating system from ICLEI, USGBC and the Center for American Progress.

  • …learned more about the work of our international colleagues and were invited to attend the ICLEI World Congress in Edmonton, Canada, June 2009
  • …enjoyed time during breaks and at receptions to tour the sponsors in the Green Marketplace and network with colleagues from around the country
  • …celebrated at the Climate Oscars Dinner where we honored recipients of ICLEI Milestone Awards (for progress in the climate protection 5-Milestone Methodology) and Santa Rosa, California, the 2008 winner of the Climate Innovation Invitational.
  • …visited some of Albuquerque’s green projects including a LEED-certified building and a water reclamation facility.
