  • Each council's scope for goal setting will be different based on their context.  Contextual factors include geography, efficiency of current practices, projected asset or population growth and/or political climate amongst others.
  • Councils marked with a ‘*’ set water quality goals during the Milestone 2 pilot, prior to the points based system coming into place. Councils marked with a “**” were granted a variation to the requirements due to their small size and limited resources.
