In Spring 2008, 30 municipal councillors under 30 years of age are invited to participate in a seminar on urban sustainability in the Eco-city of Freiburg (Germany).

The seminar will consist of practical learning units combined with visits to Freiburg’s unique environmental sites - complemented by relaxing events and outdoor activities in the Black Forest.

At the end of the course, the participants will get a working knowledge on one of the main issue of our times, sustainability. The course will give them knowledge, ideas and personal contacts to invigorate the debates on the future of their cities.
