ICLEI SEA Secretariat gets Accredited as a Training Institution
One of the paramount accomplishments for 2005 of the ICLEI Southeast Asia Secretariat is its accreditation as a licensed training institution by the Philippine Civil Service Commission in September 2005. This accreditation recognizes the mission of ICLEI-SEA and the quality of service it has provided over the years. It allows the SEA Secretariat to run training programs in partnership with, among others, the national agencies and local governments. Aside from training programs in collaboration with ICLEI’s International Training Center (ITC) based in Germany, this latest feat will allow the SEA Secretariat to further navigate the local, national and international networks within the region.
