On 5th June 2007 Franklin District Council voted to become the 27th council to join the CCP-NZ Programme, making a clean sweep of all 8 local authorities in the Auckland region now in the programme.
On 28th March 2007 Kaipara District Council voted to become the 26th council to join the CCP-NZ Programme.
