Commuting with the world in mind

Certain staff members at Environment Waikato have found themselves plunged into the world of the famous, seemingly overnight. Posters erected with their mugshots line the hallways, hang in boardrooms, reminding every person of one thing: sustainable commuting is the way to go.

Mayors Challenge Climate Change with Bicycles!

Mayors all over New Zealand gathered up their communities, jumped on bicycles, and promoted active transportation as a healthy, convenient, and environmentally friendly mode of getting from A to B, while also competing in a friendly challenge for New Zealand's Cycle Mad City.

CCP-NZ ACTIONS PROFILE RELEASED
