  • Powering Up From Sewage (Brisbane, Australia): [PDF, 40KB] This case study examines how the City of Brisbane's (pop. 1.6 million) major plant for treating wastewater, Luggage Point, has generated around 70% of its electricity needs from methane - a by-product of the sewage treatment process - for about 20 years.
