City of Espoo (Finland) joins Agenda+

The latest member of the agenda⁺ think tank of advanced local governments is the City of Espoo (Finland).

Having developed relevant expertise in many themes of sustainable urban development over the years, the city is well positioned to meaningfully contribute and add further aspects to the discussions had in the framework of agenda⁺.

Espoo will team-up with a circle of European forerunner cities to openly debate on and find solutions to current problems of urban sustainability, most notably in the areas of climate change and global resources consumption.

The core of agenda⁺ is a yearly forum meeting serving as an informal platform of facilitated exchange and interaction, aiming to frame future efforts towards more sustainable urban development.
