Cuiabá is the capital city of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. It is located in the exact center of South America.

Capacity training on inventories of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Cuiabá, Brazil

The capacity training on inventories of greenhouse gas emissions occurred on November 14^th, in Cuiabá, in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The training took place within the State Climate Policy Project – PEClima, which in addition to the state of Mato Grosso, has as partners the states of Bahia and Pernambuco, and has financial support from the British Embassy in Brasilia.

The main objective was to capacitate officials of various secretariats from the Government of the State of Mato Grosso, and from the academic sector, in methodologies of quantification of emissions of greenhouse gases in the energy and residue sectors and the tools available.
