Milestone assistance for the ICLEI Australia Water Campaign™

A Milestone Assistance Fund is available to local governments in Western Australia that are participating in ICLEI’s Water Campaign™.

The ICLEI Oceania Secretariat, in partnership with the Government of Western Australia’s Department of Water, is offering a Milestone Assistance Fund to help local governments to progress through the Water Campaign™ and achieve sustainable water management outcomes.

A total of approximately $US 41,000 ($AUS 45,000) is being offered to Western Australian councils to implement regionally based water management actions. Grants from this fund will be made available to groups of three or more councils to either:

• employ a staff person to assist with completing a milestone, or
• contribute to the implementation of a sustainable water management initiative (water conservation and/or water quality).
