Sevilla to host wastewater treatment congress

In November 2007, Sevilla (Spain) will host the Second International Congress SmallWat’07, focusing on wastewater treatment in small communities.

SmallWat’07 is expected to be where the scientific and technical advances in wastewater treatment are to be showcased. The Congress is also being organzed to foster dialogue amongst scientists, managers, technicians and users in general to identify and share their main problems, experiences and solutions in this field.

In Sevilla itself, the Experimental Plant of Carrión de los Céspedes has been developing several research projects on non-conventional technologies for water purification in small communities. For more information on these research projects, please visit www.plantacarrion-pecc.com.

The SmallWat’07 Congress is currently requesting the submission of abstracts, which will be accepted until 10 June 2007. For the abstract template, and for more information on SmallWat’07, please visit www.smallwat.org.
