European Conference on Responsibility in Procurement – invitation to host

ICLEI Sustainability Procurement Campaign is inviting interested organizations, including regional and local governments, to host ‘Responsibility in Procurement – a European Forum’.

The Conference will provide a high-level platform to disseminate the latest practical guidance and European good practice experience, from the public and private sector, on socially responsible procurement, with a particular focus on construction, and textile and clothing.

The 1.5 day event to be held in the beginning of December 2007 will bring together 150 delegates, representing procurement officers and decision-makers of European local authorities and municipal utilities; local government associations and networks; the European Commission; NGOs; representatives from the business sector, and the media.
