International Earthquake Conference: 12-14 November, Los AngelesJuly 09, 2008
In partnership with the City of Los Angeles, the Earthquakes and Megacities Initiative (EMI) will co-organize a three-day conference which aims to bring to light the various disaster risk reduction initiatives undertaken by Los Angeles and other major cities from around the globe in the areas of policy, planning, mitigation and preparedness.
