Live Green Toronto has three broad components: Establish a group of community animators -- members of the program who have a wide range of knowledge and expertise and help organize and motivate the community Allot funding opportunities to community members and businesses who have innovative, green ideas. The overall objective is to fund projects - at differing budgets and scales - that help to reduce GHG emissions and improve air quality in the community. Expand the Live Green Toronto festival as a way to celebrate successes and create a platform for interaction. The festival has already grown from a half-day event to a weekend-long celebration.
