Signing of the tripartite MoU on the EcoMobility Festival 2013 by Suwon City, Un-Habitat and ICLEI

At the Rio+20 event in Brazil, Mr. Tae-Young Yeom, Mayor of Suwon, Mr. Jae-Joon Lee, Vice Mayor of Suwon, Mr. David Cadman, President of ICLEI, Mr. Konrad Otto-Zimmermann, Secretary General of ICLEI,  and Mr. Joan Clos, Executive Director of UN-Habitat signed the tripartite MoU for the world first EcoMobility Festival.

Suwon City, ICLEI and UN-Habitat together will organize the EcoMobility Festival in Suwon, Korea in September 2013. The four-week long Festival will present a real-life vision of car-free urban living in the future. A neighborhood in Suwon will turn into an ‘ecomobile’ neighborhood, with the residents playing an active role in the implementation of the project. Find out more about the EcoMobility Festival 2013
