Biodiversity Experts and Sustainable Cities Researchers in Edmonton

ICLEI's World Congress 2009 will be held in Edmonton (Canada) from June 14-18, 2009. This year, there will be two exciting and engaging events held along with World Congress.

The Urban Nature event (June 12-13) is an excellent opportunity to meet and hear top experts on advanced biodiversity management present the latest research and scientific findings. Local government practitioners, scientists and stakeholders will present reports from some of the most advanced cities, including those from cities involved in ICLEI's Local Action for Biodiversity (LAB).

The Researchers Symposium (June 17-18) will bring together researchers leading the debate on sustainable cities and allow them to access the latest findings, support, evaluation and feedback. It is an excellent way for researchers to come together with implementers and exchange ideas.
