Helping out on Mandela Day

The City of Cape Town's Environment and Resource Management Department celebrated Mandela Day this year by painting Gege's crèche, planting trees in a nearby play park and providing some necessary toys, books and equipment. The ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center and ICLEI Africa office, which are both hosted by the City of Cape Town, joined the ERMD for a few hours to play their part in contributing to a better world on Mandela Day.
