Integrated Sustainability Services

Integrated Sustainability Services (ISS) delivers sustainability management solutions, helping councils integrate sustainability at the local level.

What's New?

    • Preparing for Sustainability Reporting Workshop: Queensland, 10–11 March

Sustainability reporting is a tool for your council to not only demonstrate its sustainability credentials, but also, to better integrate sustainability into your existing planning and reporting systems.

It is more than just presenting your achievements and progress against indicators. Sustainability Reporting involves establishing appropriate processes to identify priority issues for your stakeholders, ensuring your reporting is balanced and that your data is of a consistent and adequate quality.

To help councils understand sustainability reporting, ISS is running a 2-day workshop, hosted by Brisbane City Council. Preparing for Sustainability Reporting will run through the basics of sustainability reporting including the Global Reporting Initiative guidelines and how your council can begin to integrate the principles of sustainability reporting into current reporting practices.

Download the workshop registration form for more information [Word form, 140 KB].

    • Round 2 of ICLEI Oceania’s Victorian Sustainability Pathways Project is now open!

With funding support from Sustainability Victoria, we are now in a position to invite 10 more councils to participate in the Victorian Sustainability Pathways Project.

Feedback from participant councils to date has been very positive. Comments suggest the project is helping to introduce a "triple bottom line" approach to the organisation, to prioritise actions and to bring staff from across the organisation together to deliver the project outcomes.
