Voting period has ended: ICLEI celebrates new Charter!

The new ICLEI Charter has now been approved by the ICLEI Council.

This new Charter shall lay the foundation for structural governance reform throughout the ICLEI Global Association.

ICLEI is confident that this reform will place ICLEI and its Members at the forefront of local sustainability and local action, while allowing us to adapt and to answer the call for innovation, agility and flexibility to better serve our membership.

Over the next eight months, the World Secretariat shall be implementing the changes recommended and approved by our Members and will launch the new governance model at the ICLEI World Congress in June 2012 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
