Download biodiversity resources for local authorities
At the last international LAB Workshop, hosted by Bergrivier Municipality, South Africa earlier this year, delegates expressed the need for a easy-to-access, ‘one-stop-shop’ for resources on local authorities and biodiversity, and suggest it be hosted by the ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center website.
In response to this, as a first step, ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center has developed a revamped and updated RESOURCES webpage. Simply view the side menu, and click on 'RESOURCES'. A drop down menu will open, offering a wide selection of resource materials, from downloadable LAB Pioneer Biodiversity Reports to suggested external publications on urban biodiversity management.
The RESOURCES webpage acts as a point source of all available material recommended by ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center, where one can access information on local authorities and biodiversity from one convenient webpage. This includes resources produced by ICLEI Cities Biodiversity Center; resources produced by LAB Pioneers and suggested external publications and websites. This resource page will continually be updated with relevant information.
We encourage all LAB Pioneer participants, and local authorities interested in focusing on biodiversity management, to visit the new webpage: www.iclei.org/biodiversity/resources, and make use of the wealth of information available.
If you have anything you feel we should add to this page, or any other comments please email us at biodiversity@iclei.org
