The Government of Delhi is keen to quantify all the initiatives undertaken in combating climate change by different developmental agencies. With this objective in focus, the Department of Environment, Government of Delhi, has awarded this project to ICLEI South Asia. The major activities of the project include:

·         State Profile of Climate Change Scenarios
·         Possible Future Climate Scenarios
·         GHG Emission Inventory
·         Energy Needs Inventory                                                       
·         Analysis of mitigation initiatives taken by Delhi Government

The project would help the Delhi city to understand the emission reduction achieved through various initiatives undertaken and help the city to develop various action plans to reduce the emissions and prioritise the sectors which need special attention.
