Jerusalem hosts international seminar dedicated to Green Building and Urban Nature
In order to examine sustainable planning guidelines and the protection of valuable natural heritage sites in the city, the City of Jerusalem will host an international seminar on Green Building and Urban Nature, from 1-2 December 2010. The two day seminar and workshops will discuss current and new trends in building, placing an emphasis on Green Building and Planning Standards and Code.
Facilitated by international experts, the seminar workshops will address the issues of statutory regulation, promoting green building practice, protecting biodiversity and investigating economic tools for the promotion of sustainable development. In conjunction with the seminar, Jerusalem will launch its LAB Legacy Project – The Gazelle Valley Conservation and Restoration Program.
