Dunkerque (France) 2010
Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in the 6th European Sustainable Cities & Towns Conference, the largest European event dedicated to local sustainable development, which will take place from 19-21 May in Dunkerque (France). After the success of previous European Sustainable Cities & Towns conferences, from Aalborg 1994 to Sevilla 2007, more than 1500 participants are expected in Dunkerque.
The conference programme brings together the expertise of several local government networks and other organisations in a joint effort to reach out to local governments across Europe, and presents innovative examples of local sustainable development. It features committed politicians, internationally renowned experts and representatives from EU institutions, international organisations, national governments and business. This major conference will deliver a political message on climate and the wider local sustainability agenda ahead of COP 16 in Mexico and the Earth Summit 2012.
The registration deadline for interested parties is 30 April 2010, a late fee of EUR 50 will apply to registrations after this dateline.
