CCP-Adapt

Councils can sign up to full-fledged, two-year programs for the CCP-Mitigate and/or CCP-Adapt streams or select individual modules from either stream that fit their specific climate change planning and decision-making needs.

Where councils become involved in both CCP-Mitigate and CCP-Adapt, ICLEI will ensure mitigation and adaptation activities are integrated to maximise effectiveness, align with strategic objectives and avoid maladaptation.

The CCP-Adapt Program offers a full process for assessing and managing climate change risk and opportunities using a six-phase approach (five modules plus preparation).

ongoing remote support
in-depth supervision during critical stages of the process
access to all CCP-Adapt materials

Duration: Approximately two years
Start date: 1 July 2010
