Briefing meetings for local government representatives will be held every morning to inform delegates of the status of the negotiations and to plan activities for the day. A series of Briefing Sheets are available to help local government representatives with negotiations and networking.

Time for Real Questions is a daily dialogue with Konrad Otto-Zimmermann and global leaders that explores issues shaping the future of our cities and our planet. Information about daily speakers and recordings of the dialogues can be accessed here.
13.00 - 15.00 Meeting with Parties
National delegation meetings will be held in the Local Government Climate LOUNGE. These meetings are closed and on invitation only.
15.00 - 18.00 ICLEI Africa: Mobilizing African LGs towards energy and climate change action
This event is organized by ICLEI Africa in partnership with UEMP – the Urban Environmental Management Programme in South Africa.
A session to African local governments, it will serve as an opportunity to share lessons learned in the field of climate change, to engage with their national delegations and to network with various NGO’s, media representatives and development agencies.
The African Local Government Declaration on Climate Change, a product of in-depth consultation by local government climate pioneers from across the African continent, was also presented during this session.
