Climate protection has a long tradition in Münster. The city has received numerous national and international awards for its many years of commitment to this issue. But Münster‘s ambitious target of reducing CO2 emissions by over 40% by the year 2020 (compared to 1990) cannot be achieved without the help of local stakeholders. This is why Münster’s citizens are getting involved, participating in the Citizen’s Pact for Climate Protection.
