Edmonton‘s CO2RE program is a community-based, GHG emission reduction strategy made successful by community partnerships and citizen involvement. The program builds awareness and supports community action on climate change through a combination of education, outreach and energy efficiency incentive programs. The program has created a partnership of local businesses, associations, post-secondary schools and other orders of government to create meaningful projects and programs that reduce CO2 emissions.
