3rd EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)

Description: The EUSEW is the key annual reference point for sustainable energy issues in Europe. The events organised during EUSEW cover key topics that highlight the multi-sectoral nature of sustainable energy development and stress the need for everyone to work together towards a common goal.
The event took place in Brussels, Belgium, and in other cities across Europe from Monday 9 to Friday 13 February 2009, although many side events took place during the weeks immediately before and after. On 10 February 2009, ICLEI organised the side event 'From Bali to Poznan to Copenhagen’ Local Government Climate Roadmap - European Forum' in Brussels. The side event was a key pre-events for the Local Government Climate Roadmap as it was used to present to local governments and other levels of government in Europe recent developments in the Local Government Climate Roadmap, and to discuss and gather comments from European cities and towns, as well as their national governments, as input towards the COP 15 Event type:
