Africa Mayoral Conference on Climate Change

Description: The event built on the outcomes of the "Local Climate Solutions for African 2011 (LOCS 2011)" Congress hosted by ICLEI Africa earlier this year, with the conference themes strategically interlinked with a strong emphasis on leadership, financing and accelerated integrated action at the local level. The outcomes of the event fed into various national, regional and global debates, events and preparations for COP17 through the wide range of partners and representatives and participants.
