Description: The World Mayors Summit on Climate (WMSC) was held on November 21, 2010 in Mexico City, so that mayors from different regions of the world could sign a voluntary pact (the Mexico City Pact) that sent a clear message to the international community on the strategic importance of cities in the struggle against climate change.
