Quito’s spatial planning is heavily oriented towards personal automobiles. This results in congested roads and other negative effects. The City of Quito calls for a more efficient, multi-modal, connected, fair, engaging and empathetic approach to urban design and policy. SMART at the University of Michigan has developed a simple, practical, and integrative 4-step approach to achieving these goals. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from the University of Michigan for participating in the workshop.

For further details about the program please visit the EcoMobility website.
